10 year Friend is friend for ever?? (2006/12/26 09:56)

Actually it is very hard time for me several years ago. At that time I left a China-Japan joint Venture factory, and wanted  to start my own dream of foreign trade. Actually at that time I knew nothing about trading company. How to contact customers, where to find products.I had no idea.

I just left the factory, which I worked for 5 years. Where I started foreign trade there, imported materials and spare parts, exported finished products. But the boss appointed by national group company   would rather choose other people knowing nothing as my manager, they would not choose me, or give me some higher salary. Managers chaned several times,I am still there .I had no hope of future,That’s why I choose to leave without any hesitate. The only regret is that there are so many good friends left in the factory.From that company ,I began to  know a joint venture belonging to nation owned company  is no difference from a nation owned company,The only difference is some Japanese in the factory..Japanese people earn money for their Japanese headquaters,while,Chinese people earn money for themselves.The one who lose money is our country. 
At that time, my college friend coming back Jinan city and became manager of foreign trade company. I went there and became his staff. I only got a salary of RMB400/month.But I didn’t care.I just wanted to do business, to learn everything. As my major in college is International Trade, it is not very long time I got  two customers. And we started business soon. I showed my friend the faxes sent by my customers, with customer's all contact information. Because he is my manager, and my best college friend, we knew each other for 10 years, I trust him.

The foreign trade company was a nation owened company which was closed about one year later after my coming. We all had to leave the company to find a new work.Then I stayed at home to start my s o h o experiences.One of my customer told me a guy from my city contacted him with a very low price. The customer asked me what the guy wanted, since he never contacted other Chinese suppliers, and his contact information could not be found on internet. When I knew the name of the guy, it is very astonishing, it is him my 10 year  friend, my manager. Who contacted my customer? I talked with my friend about this problem. He denied.

One day, two college friends coming to our city, and we together had a dinner then went to his home,we played there,and later slept in his home.I slept in his study.Before sleeping,I found two faxes on his table.And I saw two of my customers' name on the faxes.

i took the papers,and left his home,I can not stay there any more.I must leave,I didnot say good bye to him,I donot know what to say.And that's the last time I went to his home.Although we still can meet each other,whenever college friends come.But I know we can not be friends any more.

These several years,I developed my own business.And I donot know what his busiess will be.But the two customers still cooperate with me .Because they donot like a business man like this.I explained to them the relationship between my friend and me,they still choose working with me.
