Many Golfers Trust Their Own Success to Titleist
Westwood overcame a two-stroke deficit entering the final round by firing an
8-under par 64 for his 10th career PGA European Tour victory and his first this
year.
In addition to Mickelson's success on the 2000 PGA Tour this year , he is
joined in the Titleist champions' circle by Tiger Woods , two-time winner
Jesper Parnevik and Masters champion Vijay Singh, in addition to Carlos Franco,
Stewart Cink, Dudley Hart, Jim Carter, Darren Clarke, Kirk Triplett and Tom
Lehman.
On the PGA European Tour, Lee Westwood trusted the advanced liquid-filled
center wound ball technology of the Titleist Professional in his three-stroke
victory at the Deutsche Bank-SAP Open.
On the Senior PGA Tour, Dana Quigley rolled in a 12-foot birdie putt on the
final hole to capture the TD Waterhouse Championship by one stroke.
Westwood's victory marks the third straight win for Titleist on the PGA European
Tour and the 11th of the year, compared to 4 for the nearest competitor.
Quigley is the fourth Senior PGA Tour player this year to win relying upon the
advanced solid core technology of the new HP Tour.
Titleist has been the ball of choice for 10 different Senior PGA Tour champions
through the first 15 events this year.
With 59 players, over 75% of the field at the TD Waterhouse Championship
trusted Titleist, compared to 12 for the nearest competitor.
In addition, 114 players at the event trusted their success to Titleist,
accounting for more than 73% of the field.
