Pro/Engineer Wildfire 4.0 安装问题

        Pro/Engineer 软件对我们搞技术开发、设计的工程技术人员来说是一款必不可少的工具软件。由于许可证问题，以前安装的 Pro/Engineer Wildfire 3.0许可证过期了，所以我也象大多数人一样，在使用Pro/Engineer Wildfire 3.0时，改一下电脑系统的时间。可是近段时间，这个方法不凑效了。。。。。。。 于是我下载了Pro/Engineer Wildfire 4.0，按照网上介绍的安装了一下，可是安装完毕以后，当启动时一出现PROE启动画面就马上消失了，害得我重装了几次还是老样子。

        现在的好人确实是太多了，有一网友在我挠脑袋一无所措的时候发了以下的资料给我：

       问题描述: proe wf4.0启动画面显示后消失而无法启动 如果只出现启动图标，然后就消失没有反应，这个原因通常是机器上安装了多个版本，不同版本共用了缓冲区的缘故 解决的方法有2种：

       第一种方法：启动Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0. 之前删除缓冲区。 打开C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator（或者你登陆计算机的名字）\Application Data\PTC\ProENGINEER\Wildfire\.wf, 删除 .wf 文件夹，如果你之前设置过系统运行环境PTC_WF_ROOT, 请删除PTC_WF_ROOT目录下的所有文件和文件夹.

       第二种方法：在Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0启动命令中增加系统运行环境。 用记事本打开 Pro/ENGINEER4.0 启动文件 proe_en.psf (在 安装目录\bin 文件内)，增加一行："ENV=PTC_WF_ROOT=D:\workspace\windchill\Forwf4".该值 D:\workspace\windchill\Forwf4 是设置写入缓冲文件的目的文件夹

我试了一下第一种方法，灵了。我想好多的同仁也许也会遇到这种情况，所以我在这里写一下，也许对大家有用。当然你下载的PROE版本或许跟我不一样，出现的问题也就会不一样，所以如果你需要这款Pro/Engineer Wildfire 4.0软件及安装说明，请与我联系，交个朋友，我传给你。

附 pro/engineer install instruction

PTC Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0 F000

1> open license.dat then displace all string"00-00-00-00-00-00" with your PTC_HOST_ID(Your netcard physical address) then save.

2> Install your pro/E &Pro/M wildfire4.0 F000 with above modified lic file.Node Locked lic method. No lic server installaion needed.

2.Run patchs!

Put proe-patch.exe under directory :
<Installed location>\proeWildfire 4.0\i486_nt\obj       then apply it.

Put prom-patch1.exe under directory :
<Installed location>\proeWildfire 4.0\mech\i486_nt\bin      then apply it.

Put prom-patch2.exe under directory :
<Installed location>\proeWildfire 4.0\mech\i486_nt\ptc      then apply it.

3.If you want install PTC Distributed Services,access PTC.Setup: other product->PTC Distributed Services, use the modified license.dat at step one with node locked lic method. then

Put prods-patch.exe under directory :
<Installed location>\ptc_distributed_services\     then apply it.

P.S. Regarding embedded Vericut:

Actually, CGtech no longer supports its VERICUT as an embedded software for pro/e and no longer uses PTC lic.FYI, See the CGtech official website said:   http://www.cgtech.com/ptc_update/index.htm  hence don't offer patch for it.
